A 10 year poetry career.

I’ve been able to use poetry connect community and organizations for a decade. I started creating free open mic’s for youth poets,writers and artists since I was 17. I’ve been teaching at Baltimore City Schools for 8 years. I am currently working on rescieving my teaching artist certification. This year I am teaching at Western Highschool, Ive created a fundraiser that uses poetry to raise fund for the community, I’ve opened for Saul Williams, and wrote original poetry in my first feature film. I am also a Saul Zaents Fellow, and Baltimore Screen-writers Shorts awardee.
